So I thought I’d record a digital painting of a goldfinch. I painted a few birds earlier in the year for a local care home, and just found it so relaxing to paint them, as well as interesting. The goldfinch in particular is so striking visually that no matter what medium you use, its quite easy to replicate the basic elements with bold, striking colours.
