So today has been a rubbish weather day, so I thought I’d share my latest little painting of a nearby wooded area by my parents’ house. Sometimes if you can’t find it, create your own.

Anything, Everything
So today has been a rubbish weather day, so I thought I’d share my latest little painting of a nearby wooded area by my parents’ house. Sometimes if you can’t find it, create your own.

So I had one office buddy join me in my office a couple of weeks ago, and I think he sent out word before he perished on the turnip doorstop.

I think the most beautiful time is during early morning, purely for the colours of the sky. Its a simple pleasure, but not one to be passed by.

Sundays are my ‘in’ days. A bit of laundry, yoga, maybe a bit of Supernatural. On days like these, it’s good to remember that nature is in the home to, in the form of plants or pets.
So this is my baby, Seth. He’s super photogenic.

Second time doing the wrekin this year, and what a difference a week makes. This was covered in snow and frost last Saturday, and now… well. Just as beautiful, though.

It’s important to remember that, when we are still, nature is always moving in a cycle. What isn’t around today will be around in weeks, months, a different season.

Beauty is the detail. Sometimes it’s personal to you.

Taken during my morning run before work, I think the lady ahead on the ride thought I was strange for stopping to take this.

So today I was getting a bit antsy, for various reasons. And I realised before lunch I hadn’t done this. I went for a walk, and noticed how suddenly my attention was diverted from the annoyances of my morning to looking for something pretty. A nice little mindfuless exercise blossomed. Who knew? I found this very small flower in the midst of some barren branches.
