Anything, Everything
Third hike up the Wrekin this year, and my god it was bitter. But this is such a striking image, isn’t it?

Every morning, I get up early and go for a walk. My main drive is to wake up, get energized. But at quarter to 7 in the morning, the only time I can fit in before work, there’s emerged one drive to get up. ‘To capture the dawn’, as Michael Sheen says in Staged.

Weather wise, its been turbulent. I personally think its the perfect weather for the period we live in right now. It should encourage people to stay in, anyhow. In a perfect world, but for so many kids its their first taste of snow, and how magical must that be?

I love snow. It makes everything wonderful and pretty and glittery. And I haven’t seen it for a few years. This morning, I looked out the window while making a cup of tea and just saw dense snowfall, and it was gorgeous. Even living in such a built up area, it was still beautiful. Just one of the great things about snow; anything can look beautiful.

Right now the sky looks like an oil painting. And I love it.

So today has been a rubbish weather day, so I thought I’d share my latest little painting of a nearby wooded area by my parents’ house. Sometimes if you can’t find it, create your own.

I think the most beautiful time is during early morning, purely for the colours of the sky. Its a simple pleasure, but not one to be passed by.

Sundays are my ‘in’ days. A bit of laundry, yoga, maybe a bit of Supernatural. On days like these, it’s good to remember that nature is in the home to, in the form of plants or pets.
So this is my baby, Seth. He’s super photogenic.
