So I want to post more on here in the way of art tutorials. Not just how to draw digitally, but also that you don’t necessarily need to spend loads on equipment. The drawing pad I use is a plug in from Amazon that cost around £25, and the program is Paint 3D on my laptop, I think it came already installed.

100 Days of Nature – Day 42 – Part of Everyday
On my running days, I usually run the same path from my apartment building, and double back. I know it like the back of my hand now, but that doesn’t mean I don’t find new things. I passed a tree, so dense with these things growing, beautiful in such an unusual way.

100 Days of Nature – Day 40 – It’s in the Detail
Next time you’re out walking, whether it be to go to the shop, walking the dog or your daily exercise, make an effort to notice things. Any spots of colour you’ve never paid attention to, a flower in a cluster of trees, berries. Crocuses emerging from a patch of grass in a business park. The colour of the sky.

100 Days of Nature – Day 32 – Animals
I love drawing animals, or painting them as its usually the case. I think they’re not only fascinating to study, they also very relaxing. The more complex, the better. Birds are my favourite, and I didn’t discover painting birds until the beginning of lockdown when I painted some for a local care home. I think they’re ideal for any skill, and it opens up an area of study you may not have realised could be fascinating, if only to examine how intricate their patterns are.

100 Days of Nature – Day 28 – Snowdrops and Fog

The Wrekin is a bit of a treat this time of year, I think. Vivid colours, snowdrops… Even when there’s no leaves on the trees, there’s still a haunting beauty about them.

100 Days of Nature – Day 11 – Create
So today has been a rubbish weather day, so I thought I’d share my latest little painting of a nearby wooded area by my parents’ house. Sometimes if you can’t find it, create your own.

100 Days of Nature – Day 9 – Dawn
I think the most beautiful time is during early morning, purely for the colours of the sky. Its a simple pleasure, but not one to be passed by.

100 Days of Nature – Day 8 – Nature at Home
Sundays are my ‘in’ days. A bit of laundry, yoga, maybe a bit of Supernatural. On days like these, it’s good to remember that nature is in the home to, in the form of plants or pets.
So this is my baby, Seth. He’s super photogenic.

100 Days of Nature – Day 5
Beauty is the detail. Sometimes it’s personal to you.
